Join me for Beginning Sewing Class as we make a simple Pillow Cover with Envelope Closure

Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:30pm – 9:00pm. Location is in Fall Creek (Humble, TX). Exact address will be emailed upon registration.

We’ll start off with learning how to properly thread a sewing machine, practice sewing a bit, then we’re off on our first project!

In this beginning class we’ll learn:
-proper cutting
-using sewing tools safely and correctly
-practicing accurate seams
-learning sewing terms and sewing machine operation
-learning about fabric and interfacing
-proper thread selection

Class fee includes the use of studio machines and tools. You will need to visit a fabric store beforehand and purchase:

1/2 yard fabric for front of pillow
1/2 yard fabric for back of pillow
