Hexagons Stamps are fun too!

September 15, 2009

Ready for another sneak peek?  This one is from the new set called Hexagon-A-Thon!  It’s full of hexagon stamps with patterns and outlines that can be stacked, layered, and changed!  The tags you see are actually made from 3 different stamps.  This gives you the option of going with a border (or two) or no border at all, as well as letting you decide if you want them all the same color or not!  How cool is that!  I love stamps that let you choose how you want the final image to look, instead of being stuck with the entire image in one color!

Stamp Release Hexagon

Oh and if you see the little owl charm I made, you might recognize it, it’s from my Have A Tweet Day stamp set!  I just stamped it on a Shrinky Dink, colored the eyes, beak, and outside with colored pencil, shrunk and attached it to my card!

How cool – I really like the look of these! Is it difficult to stamp multiple times and get the centres to line up perfectly like that?

It’s actually not difficult at all! The stamps are clear, so you can see right through them when lining things up!

I really like the clear stamps for layering. I think these would be great for my holiday cards, I could print the photos from our vacation on the front of the card then put the frames on with extra pizazz for a great individual look. This opens up so much creativity, thanks.

My name is Erin and I <3 to make stuff! Whether it’s sewing, paper crafting, home decor, or yummy food in the kitchen, this blog is my way of sharing the projects I’ve been working on!
