Hello All! I'm in the midst of CHA and packing but I'd thought I'd let you know about a little contest I was asked to participate in for DinoTalk. They have the coolest recordable items that you can make into fantastic projects. With some of their items from the Naked line I was asked to make some pieces for their Scrapbook Invitational. There's two ways to vote: Visit Dinotalk at booth 1216 at CHA Or You can send your vote in a quick email to contest@dinotalk.com They are still working on getting the pictures up on the site so let me show you what I did. I wanted to not just embellish their products, but make the recording … [Read more...]

Tutorial Tuesday: Baby Onesies
I went to a baby shower for a friend last week, and of course, wanted to give her something with more of a handmade feel. I got a package of baby onesies and used a piece of this fabric from Michael Miller that I'd been saving for just such an occasion. All you need is some fabric, iron-on interfacing, (I used Heat and Bond.) fabric scissors, and some coordinating thread. I'm staying cool by thinking about all the gelato I had in Italy: I have a confession: I always say I'm not a scrapbooker, but I made a layout yesterday. I remembered why I don't scrapbook as much. Because this one layout took me about 4 hours. I loved detailed layouts with hidden journaling, lots of teeny tiny embellishments, and just the right papers! I think I might actually frame it in a shadow box because I LOVE how it turned out! (The little … [Read more...]
Design Team Announcement!!
I know many of you have been on pins and needles waiting to see who you'll get to see more of as my new design team! I've spent days pouring over all the entries. So here they are, the new design team, in no particular order: My new design team has two returning members: Amy Tsuruta and Laurel Seabrook and 8 new members: Tina Fussell Jessica Griffin Karen Baker Bonnie Rose Kempenich Tiffany Heilman Julie … [Read more...]
